An Overview

Neurotoxin injectables, like Botox, Xeomin, and Dysport, are used for cosmetic purposes to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. Many individuals seek neurotoxin injectables to achieve a smoother, more youthful appearance. The popular targeted areas such as frown lines, crow's feet, and forehead wrinkles.

What to Expect

During your consultation, you and your provider will start by discussing what areas on your face you would like treated. Lakes Area IV Wellness Clinic offers several options for neurotoxin injections and you and your provider will discuss which one is right for you. Next, you and your provider will discuss how much product may be necessary to achieve your desired result.

Results may vary. All muscles don't paralyze at the exact same time, can be uneven or be able to make some weird faces around day 6 or 7. If there is partial improvement of a treated site, and re-treatment is desired, a second treatment may be performed no sooner than 14 days and no later than 21 days after the primary treatment. There is an additional charge for any “touch–ups” or additional product needed to achieve the desired result.

It is recommended to repeat neurotoxin injections 3-4 times per year to maintain the desired results. Typical results lasts 3 months and wears off gradually.
