An Overview
Sculptra works differently than traditional hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers that work to fill in lines, wrinkles and folds. Sculptra helps regenerate the skin's own natural collagen and elastin production, gradually restoring a more youthful-looking experience.

The most common protocol recommended is the 5-5-5 rule:

5 mins of facial massage per session
-
5 times a day
-
5 days in a row (post injection)
-
-
How to preform the massage:

Cleanse & Glide: Wash your hands thoroughly before touching your face. Use a gentle moisturizer, serum, or cleansing balm (such as a hydrating nectar or cream) to provide slip and prevent tugging on the skin.
-
Technique: Use the pads of your fingers or fingertips—not your nails or knuckles—with firm, steady, and moderate pressure.
-
Motion: Work in smooth, circular motions across the treated injection sites, often moving from the front of the face upwards and backwards toward the temples and hairline.
-
Tools: Avoid using mechanical devices, facial rollers, or Gua Sha tools unless explicitly approved by your injector.
-
-
Sun Exposure: Protect your skin from excessive sun exposure and apply sunscreen as recommended.
-
Refrain from flushing/sweating and heavy exercise for 24-48 hours.
-
Avoid saunas and hot tubs for 48-72 hours.
-
Cool Compresses: Apply a cold compress to reduce swelling and discomfort if necessary.

Alcohol: avoid alcoholic beverages for at least 24 hours post-treatment
